POPULAR QUESTIONS ASKED ABOUT COURSES

Our salsa jazz course attached dancers from all various levels from the total beginner to the more advanced dancers but guaranteed all students that complete our course learn something new whether its learning to isolate their bodies better or learning to improve their spinning and turning technique.

IS THE SALSA JAZZ "SHINES" COURSE DIFFICULT

Dancing is like learning any skill in life that it takes alot of time and practice to become a good dancer and the more you practice in your own time the better you get and the more you will get out of this fantastic dance. Some people find the salsa rhythm har hard to get use to so the best advice we give is to buy a few salsa tracks and practice as we go along the course. The great thing about our courses is that we help our students out by having footwork on our video gallery section of this website. Click here for more information about our video page

DO I HAVE TO PAY IN FULL THE £50 ON THE FIRST LESSON

No you don't. With our 10 week course we give our students the opportunity to try this style out for FREE.......yes you heard that right for FREE on one of our induction evenings that take place every 10 weeks. Full payment of the course is due in cash the following week. Salsa Latina UK does not accept cheques.. (No refunds will be given when full course has been paid for)

IF I MISS THE INDUCTION CAN I STILL SIGN UP TO THE COURSE

Yes you can. Please note we cannot allow people to sign up on week 2 of the full course and will have to sign up for the next course that we shall run.

WHERE CAN BUY SALSA MUSIC AND WHAT MUSIC SHOULD I GET

Well we have included a page on our website for recommended salsa tracks you can practice to. There thousands of amazing artists out and it is hard knowing what cds are good and what is not. Our experience is like most albums alot of salsa cds have 3 or 4 tracks that are good for dancing to on most salsa cds and others which are salsa romantica. So please see our recommended music page for more information by clicking here

WHAT DO I WEAR? DOES EVERYONE WEAR FRILLY OUTFITS

Well indeed in shows and performance people do wear frilly outfits but in Salsa dancing across the UK people in general wear their normal every day clothes. Salsa Jazz isquite fast so as long as you wear comfortable clothing then thats great and make sure you bring some water with you as you will be learning some hot salsa moves.

In regards to footwear please wear comfortable trainers with a flexible sole or non floor marking jazz trainers or non floor markinig jazz slippers. NO HIGH HEELS please as this damages the studo flooring .
