Dance tips: How to be an amazing dancer?

So how do you become an amazing dancer? we give you some tips

People always say to me wow your a amazing dancer, but to be honest I will always think of myself as a student always learning. For me learning to dance has been challenging, frustrating, fun, annoying and a whole other mixed amount of emotions. There are plenty of times when im out in a clubs (I know still clubbing at my age, haha) and see some fantastic dancers and only last week I was out dancing and saw the 'Decepticon' dance crew from Sutton who were jsut amazing with each of the dancers with their own style and attitude. So what someone amazing? is it the amount of moves that someone does, the speed of the their dancing or the amount of flips and tricks they do?

'Its not what you do its the way that you do it'

Havent I heard that soong before 'It aint what you do its the way that you do it'? which I think is so true, I always say to those who perform with me what you put into your dancing is what you get out! For sure at classes you learn about technique etc but its how you add that technique to your dance is what matters the style the attitude and the energy. Half of dancing is acting, if your up on a stage in front of 1200 people and you look bored on your face then your going to bore your audience so its really important.. to act the dance, if your putting expressions in then your crowd will react to that and be entertained.
Like anything in life what you put into your dancing will reflect how people percieve your dancing.

Fitness - Move faster and up the cardio

OK im sure this one can be an agree or disgree subject but for sure within street dance with some of the movement being so quick and sometimes so subtle if your going to head into performing for sure you have to have a good degree of fitness, anyone who has attempting bboying and doing even some of the simpler 6 step floor work its pretty hard core on the cardio so for sure if your wanting to things like floor its always good to up your game fitness wise. For me personnally fromo my kick boxing days ive found skipping really helps as it helps you keep quick on your toes plus helps the cardio and toning.
